UK, US, France reject Russia’s UNSC resolution calling for Gaza ceasefire

The UN Security Council has rejected a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza that has been put forward by Russia. Ahead of the voting, the Russian ambassador to the UN stated why the motion was put forward.
