100-Year-Old Shipwreck Discovered in Lake Superior

A 100-year-old shipwreck was discovered in Whitefish Point, Michigan, by the Great Lake Shipwreck Historical Society. The Huronton was 800 feet below at the bottom of Lake Superior. October 11, 1923, the 238-foot-long Huronton collided with the Cetus. There were no casualties. “What actually happened can be revealed after we find one of these shipwrecks,” Executive Director Bruce Lynn told Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall.
