The Book of Romans is one of the most important books in the Christian Bible. Romans covers the Biblical Narrative from Old Testament to New Testament, and explains how the story of Jesus Christ fits into the Jewish Tanakh. In this Episode we begin reading Romans Chapter 8. The first verse of Chapter 8 is subject to great controversy. Modern translations of Romans 8;1 omit a portion of the verse. They say this is because it was never supposed to be there. But, taking that portion out completely changes the meaning of the verse. With that portion though, the verse says that Christians can face condemnation if they "walk after the flesh". Is this teaching a Works Based Salvation?
