Israel has begun rapid deployment of the laser air defense system
In response to recent hostilities involving Hamas, Israel has swiftly initiated the deployment of the Iron Beam laser air defense system, according to multiple sources.
This strategic decision involves conducting operational tests that will introduce a 100 kW laser as an active component within the Israel Defense Forces’ arsenal.
Rafael, the company responsible for designing and manufacturing the Iron Beam, has customized the laser system to effectively counter a wide range of threats, Bulgarian Military reported.
