Lawyer Mistake Leads to Terrible 8th Circuit Case on Official Immunity
9 months ago
This is a case where, in my opinion, the lawyer didn't do enough research and did not make the right arguments on behalf of his client. He stipulated to probable cause when he likely should not have. That does not excuse the 8th Circuit's ruling, however, that probable cause can be developed after the fact.
