Warwick Davis DESTROYED Disney Over WILLOW Debacle

Warwick Davis is directly criticizing the Walt Disney Company with what they have to with Willow. But, is he right?

Disney has been actively destroying George Lucas properties since acquiring Lucasilm back in 2012. One actor, Warwick Davis, is embarrassed and finally speaking up. But, is he 100 percent right? Let’s get into it.

The movie is one of the icon heartfelt movies from the 1980s. And after a few decades, fans were surprised to learn that the world of Willow would be returning. When the show was announced at D23, Kathleen Kennedy said “This is an exciting new era for storytelling at Lucasfilm. Jon Chu’s vision, coupled with the writing of Jon Kasdan and Wendy Mericle, is going to take Willow into new and exciting directions for the series. Reuniting Ron Howard and Warwick Davis in the world of ‘Willow’ is something that they’ve both wanted to do for some time, and I couldn’t be more proud of the incredible team we’ve put together to bring this series to Disney+.”

When the show was finally released, fans were horrified and most stopped watching. The story, heart, and feel-good nature of the original was gone. Forbes Magazine released an early article in November of 2022, saying “Willow is an Abomination”. Erik Kain, senior contributor at forbes said “Whatever this is—this awful, badly written, poorly acted, cheap imitation—is not Willow. Even Warwick Davis seems to have lost his spark.”

When it was reported the disney was losing money and their stock price began to drop, they pulled the plug on heaps of original content on disney plus. Though Willow was a new series, it did not attract the audience that disney was hoping for. Therefore, they even took it off their streaming service.

Warwick Davis, who plays the titular character Willow, has spoken out against disney. Saying, I meet lovely people on a daily basis who are fans of willow, who are the reason the disney plus series was made. Please tell me walt disney company, what do i say to these subscribers when they ask why they can’t watch the series anymore? #embarrassing
