Storm Shield Forecast mid-morning update 09/20/17

Today is slightly warmer with sunny skies and a breeze, but it's a bit windy in the mountains with a Wind Advisory in effect until 8 a.m. Gusts will be from 45-55 mph into Mojave today. Expect sunny skies for most of the day with a high of 82 degrees in Bakersfield, which is up a little bit from yesterday but still well below our average of 89 degrees for this time of year. The Kern River Valley and Frazier Park will be in the mid-70s with Tehachapi topping out at 70 degrees this afternoon.
