Continuing in our series going through the book of John, we focused on Jesus baptism and the beginning of His ministry.
At Jesus’ baptism, the initial equipping happens. Here is where He transitions from the carpenter’s son to the Messiah. The gospel tells us that Jesus’ ability to perform miracles was from the power of the Holy Spirit and that He listened to the Holy Spirit to prompt Him like we experience today.
