A genie confined within a bottle for three millennia was released under specific terms.

During her visit to a conference in Istanbul, Dr. Alithea Binnie unexpectedly crosses paths with a djinn. This djinn proposes a deal where he grants her three wishes in return for his release. This situation poses a couple of challenges: initially, Dr. Binnie harbors skepticism about the djinn's existence, and secondly, as a scholar specializing in stories and mythology, she's well aware of the cautionary tales about the consequences of ill-advised wishes. However, the djinn attempts to win her over by recounting incredible stories from his past. Gradually, she becomes enchanted by his narratives and ultimately makes a wish that astonishes them both.
