Roxette - The Look

"The Look" was written by Per Gessle, one half of Roxette, and was originally not intended to be a single. However, an American exchange student brought the album to a radio station in Minnesota, and the station's DJ liked "The Look" so much that he decided to play it on the air. Roxette, consisting of Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson, had a successful career in the late 1980s and 1990s and continued to release music until Marie Fredriksson's health issues forced the duo to go on hiatus. Unfortunately, Marie Fredriksson passed away in December 2019. "The Look" remains one of their most iconic and enduring songs.
