Playing straight thru set list, mistakes and all

My advice :

When Practicing ,

Try new things,

Think about what you would do different than the drummer in the song,

Try to adapt to sudden changes of pace or when band stops or pauses momentarily,

Experiment trying to duplicate or approximate the best and/or fills being played by the band in question

Just don’t stop too much for mistakes,?
