Dean O’Brien was a Donbas based war photographer, we’re talking balls of steel. However, beyond bringing us truth in the form of images, Dean has been exposed to his fair share of horror, corruption and tyranny. He has a crystal clear view of happenings on the ground in the region and strong political views to back it up. For this he’s earned a slot on the infamous Ukranian press kill list. A list that, dangers aside, can only be considered a badge of honour for truth, as that is exactly what the kill list intends to stop… truth and clarity. If you dare attempt to muddy the mainstream delivery and consequent misguided public perception of goings on in the region, then you will surely end up on the kill list.
