Inside the Haunting World of an Abandoned Mental Asylum

In this video, we explore an abandoned mental asylum, one of the city's creepiest and most abandoned places.

This building was once owned by the Canadian Military and then it was bought by the Ontario Government and turned into an institution for the "Mentally Retarded".

In its heyday, this abandoned asylum was a destination for those who needed help. Purchased from the military in 1970, it was in operation until 1999. It was then left as a landmark to fall into disrepair. It was purchased by new owners and turned into an incredible paintball facility.
