Today we will be driving down a steep, narrow and rough road with deep ruts to find camp at Historic Birch Creek on the Owyhee River.

A turn in weather forced us to make a difficult decision, but we were rewarded by being able to stand on the rim of Coffepot Crater, overlooking the Jordan Craters Lava Fields.
