Netanyahu: Israel's forces ready to 'wipeout' the 'bloodthirsty monsters' of Hamas

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told his war cabinet the country's forces are ready to respond at any moment to "wipeout" the "bloodthirsty monsters" of Hamas.

The Israeli military is preparing to attack Gaza by air, land, and sea with an invasion expected at any time.

Medics inside the strip are warning that thousands could die as hospitals packed with wounded people run low on fuel and basic supplies.

Israeli forces are engaging in further training ahead of the seemingly impending invasion.

Israel's forces also face threats from their northern border with Lebanon.
