This is the fourth time we've taken a beef steer to the processor and while we're getting better at it each time it is such a relief when the job is done and everything went smoothly.

It was kind of a crummy summer when it came to the animals. We lost a couple of goats that were near and dear to our hearts as well as a few household pets that we are missing badly. Farm life can be like that sometimes. Even through the good and bad we can learn lessons that help us grow as people.
