The guy playing Paul McCartney is called William Shears Campbell known as Billy Shears and has taken over being 'Paul'. The real Paul was sacrificed in the 60's.

The rest of the Beatles knew what happened to Paul and couldn't or wouldn't say anything. Ringo Starr in an interview stated that Paul McCartney was replaced in 1966.

John Lennon knew the truth - that's why John and 'Paul' never got on.
