Police and Pro-Palestinian Protesters Clash in London | VOANews

Aerial footage showed scuffles breaking out between police and a group of pro-Palestinian demonstrators in London's Trafalgar Square on Saturday, October 14.

Earlier, thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters marched in central London, calling for an end to Israel's military action in the Gaza Strip which was triggered by last weekend's rampage in Israel by the Hamas militant group.

Protesters, many of them waving Palestinian flags and signs saying "Free Palestine," gathered close to Oxford Circus from where they headed to Downing Street, the official residence and office of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
