today welcome to truth transforms my name is Adam arkley yes it's okay to appreciate your pastor this month I've got a couple of reasons why that's okay one the Bible teaches that we're going to get into those here in just a moment but first let's just dwell on the fact that Authority is something that is very much just spis these days Authority is seen as a terrible thing and pastors and Elders are really not given much respect anymore and yes there are many abuses out there sadly but good faithful Shepherds of the flock should be honored they should be respected and they should be given appreciation and October is Pastor appreciation month and it is a great time to do that now let's talk about the reason to appreciate your pastor we see this in scripture and to scripture we go so here we go to scripture and we're going to take a look now I've got five reasons why you should appreciate your pastor this month
