Welcome to the channel! We are going to be doing a quick run of Castlevania Symphony of the Night and then diving into a first playthrough of Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance!

=================

The game's story takes place during the year 1797, 5 years after the events of Rondo of Blood and begins with Richter Belmont's defeat of Count Dracula, mirroring the end of the former game. However, despite Dracula being defeated, Richter vanishes without a trace. Castlevania rises again five years later, and while there are no Belmonts to storm the castle, Alucard, the son of Dracula, awakens from his self-induced sleep, and decides to investigate what transpired during his slumber.

Meanwhile, Maria Renard, Richter's sister-in-law, enters Castlevania herself to search for the missing Richter. She assists Alucard multiple times throughout the game.

Play as Juste Belmont, the grandson of legendary Vampire Hunter Simon Belmont! This title introduced a lot of new features to the franchise, such as 'Boss Rush' mode and the 'Spell Fusion' system that lets players combine Sub-Weapons with Spell Books to cast devastating spells.

End of Year Blitz

This is a new marathon but with a different twist, there are a selection of longer games and to start things off are having a focus in horror for October. This marathon will run from the start of October through December 31st! We are going to begin with 30 games but will add more should we progress faster. This will also contain little to no repeats of the summer of games so stay tuned for each entry reveal!
