The historic home of carpet merchant Jafar Tabatabaei was built in 1835.

As you walk down a narrow, nondescript hallway, you can't imagine the beauty that awaits you behind the door. Vaults, stained glass windows, carvings on the walls. Impressive.

The house is located 6 meters below ground level. There are male and female halves, a small kindergarten. Beautiful.
