DEEP IMAGES #21: CAFE FLESH + THREADS - Post Apocalypse Panel #7

Welcome to episode #21.

We resume our "Post Apocalypse" panel with its penultimate chapter. Henry Covert expounds upon two of his favorite post-apocalyptic/ dystopian/ post-nuclear war films.

First up is Mick Jackson's THREADS [1984], the latter perhaps the most powerful work ever visually depicting a nuclear exchange and its harrowing aftermath.

The second film Henry discusses is Stephen Sayadian's 1982 cult classic CAFE FLESH - a post-nuke sci-fi/ porn allegory/ satire. This one crosses over, blends, bends, smears, and obliterates moods, tones, and genres effortlessly.

Episode #22 will continue our Halloween panel on vampires.
