Can you unlock the new M2 from Vol. 5 in story mode in Need For Speed Unbound?

So I was wondering if you can unlock the new BMW M2 added in the Volume 5 update without playing in online mode cuz you have to play extra for online services if you play on console. I play on PC so I don't have this problem but I do wanna see if EA would be nice and let these people unlock this car on story mode... watch this video to see for yourself lol
