Is The Minelab CTX 3030 Still a Good Machine After All These Years?

The Minelab CTX 3030 has been one of the most interesting machines for me to pick up and learn. The more I mess around with it the more I realize how far ahead of its time it was. In this video I wanted to see how it would do in my test garden with 16 relatively deep targets (10 inch silver dime, 12 half dollar etc.) and I think after you see the results you will come to the same conclusion I did. I didn't use any special patterns just used the stock settings and went through the test garden a couple of times. Most of the targets are 8-12 inches in the ground and my soil condition is very clean with very little mineralization. The sensitivity settings were left on auto and auto +3.

If you are new to the Minelab CTX 3030 I recommend getting the Handbook from Andy Sabisch.
Where can you get the CTX 3030 Handbook? Here is my Amazon Link: https://amzn.to/3HWVZXT

"I've learned more info here since I became a Patreon subscriber than I have over most of the time I have been detecting. Being able to ask/post questions now and then (OK a lot ..lol) has been fantastic!! Keep up the great content."

"I enjoy the videos greatly. It's not just the techie stuff I enjoy. It's the whole platform, Rocky's antics, kayak modes, etc. You present in such a warm realistic way that is relatable. Showing junk, treasures and everything in between. Keeping it real Scott is great!"
