HEADBANGERS BALL E22-They Came from Seattle and Changed the 90s

Dear Bands of Seattle,
Thank you for all of the fuckin AMAZING MUSIC of the 1990's. This past week, Tuesday Night, I was sitting down at the VFW and talking to my Brothers and Sisters about that era of music. The greats, the fallen, the beauty in its sound, no matter that genre, From Tad to Queensrÿche. We just called it great music. Now that we're in our late 40's-mid-50s, these songs bring me back to Germany as a young married soldier with my gorgeous, then wife driving at 150+ MPH on the autobahn with the speakers cranked to fuckin 11 with the top down, to standing atop some of the most beautiful places in Europe a snowboarder could witness, to standing atop of "Freedom Radio" during Operation Joint Endeavor with the most beautiful sunsets over Sarajevo, Bosnia I'd ever seen to seeing all of these bands at various concert venues and music festivals both in Europe and the United States.
Just like it was yesterday. Thank you to the parents of the artists on this show today. And my condolences to the families of Adam Wood, Chris Cornell, Kurt Cobain, and Layne Staley. You may be gone from us. But the music you gave us inspired millions to chase their dreams. For that, you will forever remain loved, honored, and remembered.
