Same orchid, same genus, different grow environment, different set ups and organic vs. inorganic media for seedlings. The seedling grown in bark, with a wet dry cycle culture, has made exponential progress within the same time frame as the seedling grown in inorganic media in semi hydroponics. I want to thank @michaelmccarthy4077 for giving me permission to use his images to show you this comparison. Other environmental factors could play a role in the fact that my orchid is on the verge of collapse, it could also be that my orchid was not from good stock, and then of course, my lack of judgement as to whether my conditions are suitable for growing this orchid could also play a role. Now that I have substituted the wet seramis to medium size lava rock, I am hoping that I can do with inorganic media, what has been achieved with bark. When all else fails, lava rock should do the trick 🤞🏼 #orchideen #laelia #orquideas #tips #beginners
