What Is This Little Critter?🦎🏜️

I saw this small lizard on the side of the trail, while walking my dog at dusk the other night and he was barely visible, so I stopped to take a picture and get some video and I haven’t seen this particular type of sub species of lizard, gecko or whatever so maybe someone out there knows what this guy is, he was about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide, a tiny little guy.
