This phalaenopsis has been in my collection for 5 years now and appears to be dealing with the winter conditions 'ok'. However, 2023, saw me loosing 4 leaves very quickly, which was alarming. It left me with a very long stem and a lot of the roots are circling the pots as opposed to getting hydrated properly if they were in the pot. For that reason, I am repotting this summer bloomimg phalaenopsis orchid to get all the roots into the pot, repositioning it lower into the pot and contemplating a stem cut to tidy the orchid up for the coming years. I hope this orchid will stay in my collection and not succumb to the winter conditions 🤞🏼 #species #orchids #orchideen #orquideas #orchidcare #tricks #beginners
