Fun Times at Hot Rod Days in Henderson , Nevada , October 2023

Every year around late September , early October , Henderson , Nevada closes downtown Water Street and the surrounding streets for one of the largest car shows in Nevada. Over 1,000 cars , trucks , and other vehicles fill the streets with chrome and colorful paint jobs. Lots of Muscle Cars , Classic Cars , Rat Rods , Low Riders , Motorcycles , European Exotics , and everything in between.

There is also lots of food and merchandise for sale , as well as live music and entertainment. This is a big event and last at least 2 days. I try my best to go every year. Henderson , NV is only a few minutes from Las Vegas , Nevada and of course the Las Vegas Strip. It is well worth the trip and spending the day walking up and down the street seeing all the displays. Many of the local restaurants and stores are open too and even a couple small casinos if you want to stop and gamble a little.

There were tons of cars to look at from all makes , Chevy , Ford , Dodge , Plymouth , Chrysler , and even Lotus . Lots of favorites like Corvette , Mustang , Charger , Cuda , Roadrunner , a little of everything . So if you love the sound of Mopars , Chevys , Fords , Dodge , Jeeps , Trucks , and Old Time Classic Cars from the 20's , 30's , 40's , 50's , 60's , 70's , 80's , and even modern cars , then this is the car show for you !
