Joe Cocker, born May 20, 1944 in Sheffield (England) and died December 22, 2014 in Crawford (Colorado), is a British blues-rock singer, also, to a lesser extent, actor and composer.

His hoarse voice and spasmodic gestures on stage, which remained his trademark throughout his career, made him famous throughout the world.
