The HORRIFIC Executions Of The Gas Vans

During the Second World War, inside of concentration camps millions of people were executed and exterminated inside of the gas chambers. These were developed as the SS looked for the most efficient method of killing, but before the gas chambers at camps such as Auschwitz, the SS used the gas van. This was a mobile van which was driven to various sites across Germany and the Third Reich, and was used to kill many thousands of people. The Gas Van worked in a way in which carbon monoxide was pumped into the back of the truck whilst victims were loaded in.

It was also used by the Soviet Union, before the Second World War. But it was a deceptive and horrific method of killing that came before the gas chambers. Today no gas vans survive as they were blown up and destroyed to cover up the crimes of the SS.
