Bosnian Ajvar
Ajvar is a condiment made principally from sweet bell peppers and eggplants. The relish became a popular side dish throughout Yugoslavia after World War II and is popular in Southeast Europe.

Ingredients: Sweet Red Peppers, Garlic, Eggplants, Hot Peppers, Oil, and Salt The sweet red peppers and eggplants are boiled before being ground. The garlic and hot peppers are ground in their raw state. Once all the ingredients are ground into a paste, they are boiled with oil and salt. This paste is then cooked for 1 to 1½ hours.
