The 9th annual Farewell to Sickle Cell walk was held at the park at Riverwalk from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. There was food, music, clowns, face painting, henna tattoos and raffle prizes. All the money raised went to funding sickle cell research and tribal people in India with sickle cell disease.
