Black hole

A black hole is a region in space where the gravitational pull is so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape from it. This extreme phenomenon is a consequence of the general theory of relativity, developed by Albert Einstein. Black holes are formed when massive stars exhaust their nuclear fuel and undergo a supernova explosion, leaving behind a collapsed core. The core's mass becomes concentrated in a tiny volume, resulting in a gravitational field so intense that it forms an event horizon—a boundary beyond which nothing can escape
