On January 27, 2022, I published a video titled "Utterly Insane Facts about the Moon Dust." The video was an instant hit with 2.3 million views. In case you missed it, the link is in the first comment. But despite its viral status, numerous viewers had questions and wanted things clarified. Today, I'm here to address some of those burning issues.

#4. Lunar dust smells like gunpowder: We should apologize for not using a complete statement. Lunar dust doesn't smell like gunpowder. It actually smells like BURNT gunpowder. Numerous viewers asked, "How can an astronaut take off his helmet over the moon and smell moondust." Well, the answer is pretty much the same. Because of the moondust's clingy nature, it clung to their suits, and in the lander, when they took off their Spacesuits, they could smell "burnt gunpowder." This incident has been reported by several astronauts like Gene Cernan.
