Ground Report Amid Heavy Israeli Security at Jerusalem's Al Aqsa Mosque | Vantage with Palki Sharma

Israel has deployed heavy security around the Al Aqsa

Mosque Compound in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Hamas had called for massive protests by Palestinians from the West Bank. There were some clashes between Israeli forces and protesters outside the old city.

But for the most part, Israeli forces managed to maintain peace amid the tense environment of Jerusalem.
