Remington Model 31 side eject takedown pump action shotgun. With ball bearing smoothness action

I love riot shotguns, police shotguns, military shotguns, trench guns… this nice 1937 vintage Remington model 31 is a nice addition to my collection. This was tagged a model 31 riot gun when I bought it, though it is missing any marks that would traditionally be found on a known riot gun. However, the early history on the model 31’s is a little obscure, and who knows if this was made into a riot gun or defense gun some time free it’s creation.

At any rate, I love this shotgun, fits nicely in my collection. May have a couple more similar shotguns coming soon. Stay tuned!
