Antiques, Camping & Hiking Gear, Fried Chicken, & The Nicest People on Earth!

Took a quick trip to Mountain City, TN for work and just HAD to take a quick peek downtown, pull out the new drone (a HOVERAir X1), do a bit of shopping and grab some fried chicken!

Mountain City is located in the NE corner of the state and is the county seat of Johnson County. It's about 40 minutes north of Boone, NC and is a charming town with plenty of amenities for the locals.

I stopped by Knerr's Vintage Treasures & Gun Shop (https://www.facebook.com/DebiEvanKnerr) and had a great time. The people working and shopping there were so nice and this sweet little girl kept coming up to me and giving me hugs. I've never felt so welcomed anywhere before!

After that, I headed 3 whole minutes south of downtown to Sherry & JP's Chicken House. It's a rather simple southern fried chicken menu, but the chicken is absolutely cooked to perfection!
