Firing Your Glutes: Tips for Overcoming Inhibition

People that struggle to fire their glutes. If you have trouble firing your glutes it is likely the antagonist (quads & hip-flexors) are going to be short and tight. This pulls the glutes into a lengthened position and the pelvis anteriorly.

Stick your bum out and try and contract your glutes. Then tuck the pelvis and do the same and feel the difference. If you're someone who cannot fire their glutes. Make sure to roll out/ stretch your hip flexors and quads and then see if you can fire your glutes better.
