This is an attempt to recreate a fragment of the intro theme of the "Lucha Libre Internacional" TV show, starring Dominican wrestler Jack Veneno in the 70-80-90s decades. This marching music, which consisted of an audio tape loop, resonates in the memory of everyone who watched Dominican wrestling in those times, with its characteristic whistle that I cannot distinguish if it's from an electronic organ, piccolos or violins. But so far, no one has been able to identify the theme's title. It's probably the most famous "lostwave" or "lost media" in the Dominican Republic. For decades the name of this theme has been a total mystery, it's not known if it's a military or sports march, or whether it's from a recognized composer or just library (stock) music. Only my friend Comicdominicano has told me that he heard it in a documentary in the 70s, and jomasadi says that according to Jack Veneno this march was chosen from a vinyl LP bought at Musicalia on El Conde street. Here I have tried to put together the looped segment, joining several bits of YouTube videos (that's why some narration is heard). I couldn't reduce much the volume of the voices and the crowd, but I hope this "invention" will be of some use to anyone interested in solving this mystery, just like me.
