Don't Miss the Milwaukee River Challenge!

The Milwaukee River Challenge is an annual rowing regatta that takes place downtown on both the Milwaukee and the Menomonee Rivers. It brings 900 high school, collegiate and club rowers from all over the Midwest, as well as members of the US National team (back from competition in Rio) to compete on a distinctively challenging 3-mile course. This race is unique in the rowing world as the narrow Milwaukee River, coupled with Milwaukee’s award winning Riverwalk allow for spectacular viewing opportunities. Joining us with all the details on tomorrow's can't-miss event are Race Director Alyssa Remington and Milwaukee Rowing Club Junior Rower George Lawton. The 17th Annual Milwaukee River Challenge takes place tomorrow, September 16 along Milwaukee's Riverwalk. The first event starts at 8:30am. For more information, visit MilwaukeeRiverChallenge.com.
