Thread: Danville 6/0, Black & White
Tip: Danville Mylar Tinsel #14, Gold
Tail: Golden Pheasant Tippet
Rib: Danville Mylar Tinsel #14, Gold
Body: Danville 4-Strand Rayon Floss, Rear half Yellow, Front Half Red
Wing: Cinnamon
Hackle: Black

The Kate is another wet fly from Ray Bergman's book Trout (page 435, plate #5). The Kate has a two colored body as well as Golden Pheasant Tippet for a tail. It is an interesting fly to tie with the different colored body and trying to no bulk up the body but keep it smooth. A nice attractor pattern. -- Enjoy
