You will not believe this awesome surprise fish I caught in this small trout stream when I was doing the Berkley Powerbait Trout Nuggets challenge!

I was wadding along in the Buffalo river near Strum Wisconsin trying to catch me some trout that I have caught in this river many times before when I caught an awesome surprise fish and learn exactly why I was not catching any trout!

I was truly surprised to catch Northern Pike in this small trout stream.

The summer must have warmed the water up enough that the pike had come up from the lake and up the small river.

Was not expecting to catch northern pike but what an excellent surprise!
