Anti-Islam activist rips Palestinian flag, rival protesters detained in the Hague

Edwin Wagensveld, leader of the Pegida anti-Islam group in the Netherlands, tore up a Palestinian flag in front of the Palestinian Mission building in The Hague, as police guarded the event.

The gathering reportedly began earlier than anticipated, and a group of Palestinians living in the country later demonstrated against the Pegida leader's protest. Several people were detained.
