After all these years alakazam finally gets to play with its entire line and not just be used as a special rule box pokemon on its own. The preevolutions are still not impressive but alakazam ex definitely is. Similar to hit and switch decks from the past alakazam doesn't even need to switch. Its second attack allows it to attack from the bench while you have an annoying wall pokemon active.
