We must escalate this matter - the government appears to be placing the will of the investors above that of the We The People... there are still plans to impose smart meters and with statutory instruments the government, at a later time, can impose further restrictions and amend their legislation to suit their 'investors' requirements!

Pause the Energy Bill and hold a public referendum before proceeding
We want the Government to pause the Energy Bill, and hold a public referendum to determine whether this legislation should go ahead. To inform the referendum, the Government should send information leaflets to every household explaining the Bill, and the impacts its passage will have.
