This webcam shows the tracks leading to Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago, Illinois. The rail lines lead to Ogilvie Transportation Center and host the Metra Union Pacific routes West to Elburn, Northwest to Harvard and North to Kenosha, WI. The Clinton Station on the Chicago Transit Authority elevated rail line is also in view, serving CTA Green and Pink line trains. This webcam additionally provides a stunning view of the downtown Chicago skyline and surrounding areas.

This webcam is hosted by Structured Development at the former Chicago & North Western powerhouse. Constructed between 1909 and 1911, this three-story, Beau Arts style building once housed the coal-fired boilers and generators that provided electricity for Chicago & North Western Railroad’s terminal complex. Structured Development redeveloped the property into three interior levels of office and retail space. The Powerhouse is a designated City of Chicago Landmark and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
