SC - Expectations vs Reality

People say it's not a game, and I completely disagree. In a multiplayer sandbox environment this game is what you make it. It isn't a complete project however and often updates are the worst time for stability and bugs. But to say you can't have fun is just not true. Thats why the haters can't stop talking about, watching, and even playing SC. If you come into Star Citizen expecting a smooth experience, you will be disappointed. If that's important to you then don't play it. But for us masochistic types, Star Citizen offers a level of freedom that no other game has ever offered. You'll have to experience what I mean to understand. You can do that during anyone of the Free Fly events that get ran throughout the year.
