Muncie Community Schools cancels contract with bus route provider

Muncie Community Schools canceled their contract Tuesday with the company that has helped to create the district’s bus routes. The School Board of Trustees voted to cancel the contract with True Consultants. Parents said on the first day of school, the busses were late picking up their children and bringing them back home. District officials said many of the bus routes were wrong and about 20 percent of the staff quit days leading up to the first day of school.
