82-YEAR-OLD DETRANSITIONER: “I’m Still Talking About the Harm That Was Done to Me 78 Years Ago”

Walt Heyer’s (82) story all started when he was a four-year-old boy, and his grandmother started cross-dressing him.

Walt disclosed, “When my dad found out about me being cross-dressed, he was horrified. Later on, his adopted brother began to sexually molest me. I got married, had children, and then I went to a gender specialist. When he met with me and said, you need hormones, and you need surgery to resolve this conflict that you have about your gender.”

“Well, the truth was,” he continued, “it was never about gender. I learned this after I was 50 years old. After living the life of Laura Jensen, female transgender. It was always about what happened with a purple dress and being sexually abused — and no one was addressing this adverse childhood experience that caused that trauma.”
